Turnberry Hotel, A Luxury Collection Resort, is located on the stunning Ayrshire coast and offers elevated views over the Irish Sea, Ailsa Craig and mountains of Arran & Kintyre. First opened in 1906 as the world's first golf resort, the Turnberry hotel quickly established itself as the premier destination for social and sporting events. The five red star resort underwent a multi-million pound renovation programme prior to hosting the 2009 Open on its legendary Ailsa golf course.

The 150 luxuriously appointed guest rooms offer a perfect blend of Edwardian tradition and timeless design. Turnberry is the perfect setting for food lovers, with a choice of unique dining experiences, including the signature restaurant 1906, which offers classic dishes with a modern twist. There is also the elegant Grand Tea Lounge, Ailsa Bar & Lounge, Duel in the Sun bar and Tappie Toorie restaurant overlooking the links golf courses and sea beyond.

There is also a luxurious spa offering a range of ESPA treatments. The onsite Outdoor Activity Centre offers guests a variety of distinguished outdoor activities including quad biking, horse-riding, fishing and off-road driving.

Helicopter Transport to and from The Open

In order to enjoy some of Scotland's finest links courses and the drama of The Open Championship, we have included helicopter transfers to transport our guests from Turnberry to the official helipad at Royal Lytham. Our helicopter transfers are scheduled on Friday 20th and Sunday 22nd July. The flight time from Turnberry to The Open is approximately 60 minutes. Guests will be transferred to and from the helipad by private vehicle.

1). Availability is restricted on these packages. Space will be allocated on a first come

first served basis.
2). Reservations will only be guaranteed on receipt of the required deposits.
3). Turnberry is approximately 60 minutes by helicopter from Royal Lytham & St

Annes.
4). Daily Tickets: Juveniles (under the age of 16 on 15th July 2012) will be entitled to

free admission if they hold a Juvenile admission ticket and are accompanied on

the day by an adult. If a Juvenile does not hold a valid Juvenile ticket or is

unaccompanied by an adult they will not be entitled to free admission.

There are also concessions available for for youths (16 to 21 year olds). Please

advise us at the point of booking if you or any of your group would qualify for any of

the above concessions and we will adjust the cost of your package accordingly.
